BALAYAGE
Balayage is a color technique where color is applied with a freehand style. The various styles are limitless. We can combine tones and colors and shadows to give you a completely original look. The process is great for layered hair, bobs, short to medium length hair and will maximize its effects for structuring and depth.
Its namesake is a french word that means to "sweep" or "paint", which is how color is applied. The specialized technique has been around for a while but has been improved with color technologies and popularized with celebrities' use of it in movies, red carpet events, and runway exposure.
The goal of Balayage is to give softer, more natural highlights. Think of the sun kissed locks of a child. Because they are a more natural highlight, you won't have to worry about the growth lines that you would when having highlights applied with a foil, therefore you won't have to have a root touch up as often. This means less time at the salon overall.
NATURAL HAIR
Natural, textured hair is one of the hardest things to keep up with. You are riddled with scalp buildup, dryness, breakage, and may other things that will leave your hair looking and feeling unhealthy. We want to make sure that you are looking your best for everyday, or special occasions.
JAPANESE THERMAL RECONDITIONING (JTR)
Junko Hair Studio has been performing Japanese Thermal Reconditioning (JTR) since 1999, when Liscio invented it in Japan. It is a conditioning treatment and is also known as Thermal Straightening. The process, which takes a while, loosens the hair's cysteine protein bonds, and restructures them by straightening the hair by using a heated flat iron and Liscio products. the hair is then sealed and made permanently straightened with use of a neutralizing agent to lower the pH balance and closes off the cuticle. This causes the hair to have a smoother surface as a whole.
We have Asian staff members who are highly experienced with Thermal Reconditioning and follow a technically guide-lined procedure enhanced by years of experience.
Our policy is always to have a consultation with each customer prior to their service and to determine if their hair is suitable for the service. If an in house consultation is extremely inconvenient, a few strands of hair mailed to us for analyzing is required. We only perform the service if the hair is healthy. It is more effective and recommended by Liscio to use a pure protein conditioner up to two weeks prior in addition to the same day of the service if necessary.
DIGITAL PERM
The digital permanent is a perm that uses hot rods in which the temperature is regulated by a machine with a digital display, hence the name. The biggest difference between other perms and a digital perm is the shape and the texture of the wave.
The digital perm makes the wave most prominent when the hair is dry, and loose when it's wet. Therefore, you can create the dry and curly look of the curling iron or the hot curler. A digital perm can create loose waves and curls, which is difficult with regular perms.

Weddings are beautiful things. This is your special day and we have stylists that specialize in Bridal updo and bridal services onsite for you and your Bridal Party. Whether you are looking for a traditional wedding hairstyle or the most unique and contemporary hairstyle that we can come up with. We at Junko Hair Studio are able to accommodate your needs.
Pricing for Bridal Updo/Bridal Party range from *$80 to $200 for services inside of the salon.
Blowouts for Bride/ Bridal party will range between $40-$50.
Any onsite services will be the same prices plus $100 convenience fee (per stylist) for time and travel from salon.
* $80 -100 per person for updo for the Bridal Party and $200 for the Bride (Bride's price includes Trial). Price for bridal party doesn't include trial. Pricing for trial will also be $80-$100.
